Install, maintain, and repair computer equipment and peripherals (printers, document cameras, projectors, etc.
) throughout the district.
Diagnose and solve computer hardware, software and network access issues.
Assist users with access to wireless network and access to other network services.
Create and deploy software packages using remote desktop management tools.
Maintain records, update inventory and service databases.
Maintain physical inventory storage.
Update district webpages using a web content management system.
Provides teachers and staff training as needed when new technology or software is added to the School city of Whiting.
Interface with vendor tech support.
Install, test and troubleshoot software applications (instructional and administrative), being conscious of software requirements, license restrictions, and end-user's needs.
Manager the computer labs, keeping them ready for student use.
Manage and maintain accurate building technology inventory records and counts.
Promote a positive and professional image of the District at all times.
Cooperate and coordinate with other members of the technology program.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
