Safety Training Instructor

The Contractor Onbaording Instructor will provide quality classroom safety instruction to meet regulatory training requirements.
This position is ideal for an individual with workplace safety training experience looking to provide instruction to Safety Training and Tracing's business and industry partners.
Preferred Experience and Training:
Associate degree in Workplace Safety or, Board of Certified Safety Professional Credentials CSP, CHST, etc.
or, 7 years or more experience in the construction, manufacturing, petrochemical industry or, Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office specifically PowerPoint Proficiency with AV equipment for training delivery Additional Duties, Responsibilities, and Skills:
Ability to clearly communicate training content to trainees.
Ability to be a team player Ability to be patient with trainees and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
Ability to arrive at company site of training to prepare classroom, equipment and start on time.
Based on needs, identify and develop safety training curriculum.
Develop customized participant training materials, active learning activities and events if necessary Manage classroom to ensure a productive and safe learning environment.
Prepare course outlines, lecture content and hands-practice activities that demonstrates the goals and outcomes of the safety training.
Classroom duties include grading, developing course specific content, etc.
Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while instructing Must be able to lift 10-20 lbs.
