Site Supervisor

Position Purpose Responsible for supervising and supporting company activities related to Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) and Benzene Waste Operations NESHAP (BWON) programs at BP Whiting nested site.
The Site Supervisor oversees planning and preparation of daily activities to ensure they are carried out in a safe, reliable and efficient manner.
The Site Supervisor also develops, motivates and directs monitoring personnel in the efficient execution of monitoring activities while ensuring compliance with customer and company standards.
This position has an active role in supporting quality management, QQ/QC, Shield Analytics, training, and auditing policies and procedures to project standard requirements.
Strongly supports and ensures requirements are met for workplace safety, operational control, procedure management, execution through prevention, instruction, and random inspection.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties Responsible for supporting AGL Project and implementing the plan to achieve the results.
Providing coaching and mentoring to help team members reach goals and gain competency, accuracy and efficiency.
Assessing LDAR staff competencies.
Provide employee corrective action when needed and provide support to LDAR Manager on performance reviews for all team members.
Responsible for coordinating and scheduling team project meetings and updating project status reports specific to PROtect's LDAR services as need for internal and client needs.
Safety - Review Job Safety Assessments and ensure that staff have proper safety equipment and supplies on hand.
Maintain up to date knowledge of applicable safety policies and procedures.
Direct and monitor safety standards in the work environment and ensure safety of staff.
Assist Safety Manager to ensure that all employees receive and maintain required training, including new hires before beginning field work.
Support on-boarding process for all new department hires.
Validation and quality control of new systems, documentation, training, and auditing as required by BP Whiting.
This includes, but is not limited to:
New Hire Training Staff Training and Competency Written, practical, and field assessments Shield Analytics SOPs and Work Flows, Document Management Audit Program Calibration Record Management Supervises Quality Management policies and procedures by project standard requirements.
Leads workplace safety, quality, training, and process control through prevention, instruction, and random inspection.
Actively monitors the work planning process to ensure the required quality inspections, tests and documentation are identified.
Manage the scheduling of training, inspections, and tests to support the production schedule This position supports development and implementation of SOP and Work Flow protocols and reports for BP Whiting LDAR and BWON operations, including operation and maintenance of instrumentation and equipment.
Promote company culture and identify obstacles to success regarding customer opportunities.
Provide the Engineering Team the data, database and records to support BWON project reporting to client.
Work closely with subject matter experts to address field obstacles.
Responsible for coordinating work allocation, daily tech metrics, and reporting with the subcontractor.
Communicating issues, changing schedules, obstacles between Site Manager, Ops Manager, BP Engineering Manager, Sr.
Vice President, Risk and Compliance, and BP liaison.
Maintain consistent communication with Site Manager, Ops Manager and Sr.
Vice President, Risk and Compliance concerning project status or issues, resource and equipment needs, and other internal or external concerns where assistance is necessary.
Provide back-up support to the Ops and Site Manager on the team's job sheets, time sheets, and expense reporting in collaboration with the accounting department representative to ensure timeliness and accuracy of data entry into the FX system.
Requirements Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required Required Knowledge &
Experience:
3-5 years professional level experience required Demonstrated leadership experience required Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required Ability/willingness to obtain operational proficiency in Leak Detection Equipment Ability to learn/understand EPA and state specific environmental regulations Knowledge of general chemical/petrochemical processing and industrial manufacturing processes is preferred Physical Activities and Requirements of this Position:
Nested position in remote location.
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Able to view computer screen for lengths at a time.
Must be able to speak and listen clearly.
Fine visual acuity to read for accuracy.
Safety-oriented attitude with a true commitment to personal safety as well as the safety of others is a must.
This job may require lifting of up to 25 pounds occasionally.
May be exposed to loud noises, wet and humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, extreme hot and cold depending on weather conditions.
Requires climbing and working at heights, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, standing for long periods, walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive motion, working in confined spaces, working near hazards including moving mechanical parts, and working near electrical components.
Salary Description $55,000-$70,000 Recommended Skills Assessments Auditing Calibration Coaching And Mentoring Confined Spaces Corrective And Preventive Action (Capa) Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
