Lead Low Voltage Technician

Job DescriptionStaff members classified under this position will be responsible to execute tasks in all stages of the project's life cycle.
Tasks are assigned by the Project Manager.
Lead Low Voltage Technicians will have the responsibility to direct and manage a team of staff member/s and must ensure the success of the project by abiding to company policies, industry standards, quality craftsmanship and superior customer satisfaction.
Job Duties:
Job duties listed are typical for staff members classified under this category.
This are but not limited to:
Installation of copper and fiber cables, related support and Firestop Systems Installation of cable and equipment infrastructures Installation of communication equipment Installation of medical equipment Cable termination, testing and labeling.
Proper Project Survey, installation and documentation Tool and asset inventory, tracking and maintenance.
Customer Service and satisfaction Assign daily task to the team members.
Report daily and weekly progress to company Project Manager and customer provided contact.
Manage company resources efficiently to maximize performance and ensure project success.
Manage and maintain company vehicle according to company policies.
Create and submit expenses report.
Serve as a liaison between the company and the customer.
Inspect all work perform by team members.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience wiring and terminating low voltage electrical systems.
Strong organization, planning and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze and understand safety/health policies and principles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customer representatives and governmental agencies.
Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Ability to use all needed hand tools for routing, securing, and terminating wire and wiring harnesses.
Ability to remove, disconnect, and replace equipment doors, top covers, chassis components, etc.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams.
Ability to use a multimeter and other devices for testing purposes.
Ability to read instructions, write reports, complete forms.
Proficiency with MS Office applications.
Ability to (positively) influence others.
Ability to work on a team.
Passion, drive, excellent work ethic, and ability to self-start without direct supervision.
